Pastor Jason is from Santa Barbara, CA, a hundred miles northwest of Los Angeles. He received a B.A. from the University of Southern California with a major in Religion and a minor in Film/Television(1994). His Master of Divinity is from Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA(2005). Before coming to Christ the King Church, in Westfield, MA (2006), Jason was the Pastor of Lay Ministries at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Orange, CA (1999-2005). He was ordained to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church when he became pastor of Rugged Cross Church, a home-church in Orange, CA (2005-2006). Prior to his call to ministry, Jason worked in the television industry, both in production and post-production. He brings his gifts in multi-media and his joy of story telling into his preaching and teaching, often using power point, video, and occasionally acting to convey God's Word. We have lovingly dubbed him the "Techno-Pastor". Jason and his wife Sandra have two daughters,
Cassandra and Mikayla. They love New England weather, despite
growing up on California's sunny beaches. Jason radiates his
love of family, friends, and seasonal paintball games with brothers
from the church. |
