86th Meeting of the
PRESBYTERY OF THE EAST
at
CHRIST THE KING EVANGELICAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Christ the King hosted the 86th EPC Presbytery of the East meeting. It was a Spirit-filled and productive meeting, marked by powerful worship, rich fellowship and a overwhelming amount of business. CTK is one of the smaller churches in the Presbytery, but by God's grace, wonderful volunteers and good weather, we were blessed by how amazing the entire weekend ran. With over 120 people joined together in worship Friday night, we enjoyed the Lord's Communion and two sermons from ordination candidates, plus a lovely dinner. The next morning we heard two more sermons, one by our very own David Cook.

On Saturday, the highlight for CTK was the acceptance for ordination of David Cook as our Assistant Pastor and the coming under care of Tom and Donna Petter. David will be serving to church plant North Point EPC, CTK's church plant in Peabody, MA. Tom and Donna are also on the servant leadership team for North Point. All in all, it was a glorious meeting for our church and a good time in fellowship with our fellow presbyters. To God be the glory!

Special thanks to all the CTK workers, planners and helpers!!
